Akiba Mural W.I.P.
I have been commissioned by the Akiba Class of 2007 to
create a commemorative mosaic which celebrates the
building their school has called "home" as well as the
people who have influenced their graduating class. The
project will measure 8' x 8' and will be made of a
combination of bas relief ceramic, flat glass mosaic and
cast glass elements. These photos show the mural in a
variety of states : unfired / fired and glazed ceramic
and unset glass mosaic .The last few images are of the
piece installed and complete in its Jack M. Barrack
Academy setting.
