Autobiographical Back Splash
Inspired by kitchens seen while traveling through
Portugal, I used food symbolically to design the back
splash of my kitchen. Each illustrative three dimensional
tile, made of sculpted and glazed ceramic, represents a
place I have lived or an influence important to my life.
Bas -relief tiles are surrounded and visually supported
by Venetian glass mosaics.
